Which colors are included?
The 35 color words a child learns first: red, blue, green, yellow, pink, purple, white, black, brown, gray, orange, gold and the rest. They can already say every one, so what they practice is the spelling: the silent e in purple, the ay in gray.
Color it in after you find it
The word list sits beside the grid. A trick that works in kindergarten: when a child finds a color, they color that word in on the list. An 8×8 grid with 6 words takes ten minutes; 15×15 with all 15 colors is half an hour of quiet work.
